I cannot help but be passionate about the natural world that surrounds us, a complex web that interconnects us to it and every living thing. I believe deeply that for the sake of community and ourselves this connectedness is vital to our well being, and it is essential that we engage with it more deeply and enthusiastically. I first completed the CA Naturalist certification through the Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods in 2014 (the Sonoma County ecosystem); in 2023 I moved to a new beautiful area and was able to start exploring the Monterey Bay ecosystem. I am Thrilled to live in a small town with a great natural history museum.  I also really, really like to express myself, so, hey, blogging from time to time.
